Hello and welcome to Inner Solutions!  I have lived in the Wilmington area for 22 years and thoroughly enjoy being a part of such a diverse and welcoming community. 

I am licensed in the state of North Carolina as a Professional Counselor. I received my Masters Degree in Counseling in December 1996 and my professional license in February 1999. I am also credentialed to provide online counseling. This is also known as e-therapy or distance counseling.  

My training, experience, and general counseling practice include working with children, adolescents and adults to help them overcome trauma, depression, anxiety and other issues so they may live happy and productive lives.

My training, experience and specialty counseling practice include Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, LGBTQ, LGBTQ family building, family building for single women, male and female reproductive health, recurrent miscarriages, grief, pregnancy loss and other fertility concerns, including cancer and preserving fertility. 

I provide Third Party Reproduction screenings/evaluations for donors, recipients, and gestational carriers. I also provide Child/Family Evaluations in cases of suspected child abuse through UNC Chapel Hill’s Child Medical Evaluation Program. 

I take a person centered approach to counseling and will also utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Reality Therapy and Mind/Body Techniques. These are well known and practiced counseling theories that I encourage you to research and become comfortable with. 

I have extensive training with a special interest and passion in male and female reproductive health, women's health, male and female infertility, and family building options.  I am excited to offer a customized Mind/Body Program for fertility.

I am a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, American Counseling Association, International Society for Mental Health Online, Online Therapy Institute, The American Fertility Association, RESOLVE, and Fertile Hope.

Counseling is a commitment that we both will share. I feel that as people become more accepting of themselves, they find true joy and awareness in their lives.
