Karin Kassab is a clinical psychologist licensed as a Psychological Associate and certified as a Health Service Provider. She received her Masters of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology, with a concentration in substance abuse treatment, from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Karin has experience working with adults in a variety of treatment environments, inpatient, partial hospital, substance abuse intensive outpatient, individual, and group settings. Karin relies primarily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, but shifts to other modalities when indicated Karin is also a, 200hr RYT, registered yoga teacher. As a result, her clinical work is infused with an appreciation for holistic health and wellness.
Karin is currently in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina, Medicaid, Medcost, and Magellan. Self-Pay rates are available.
Since joining Inner Solutions, Karin continues to build her practice and with focus on treating substance abuse, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, depression, eating disorders, couples/marital issues, adjustment issues, stress issues, and self-harm.
Karin's primary goal in therapy is to facilitate the learning of new coping skills that will lead to new ways of living and result in a more satisfying and productive life.
