12 Week Mindful Eating Program

A Step-by-Step Treatment to Creating a Healthy Relationship with Food, Eating, Body Image and Weight

 

MINDFUL IS:

·     Accepting and living in the “what is” rather than the “what if”

·     Training and taming the mind.  Making the mind your friend

·     Purposefully paying attention to your body and surroundings

·     Acting not reacting

·     Observing sensations, emotions and the physical body

·     Knowing what your body is feeling and what your mind is thinking

·     Observing experiences in a non-judgmental and non-blaming way

 

 

PROGRAM INCLUDES:

·     12 individual appointments with Lori Brinkley to learn, practice and master concepts

·      2 sessions with a yoga instructor and/or acupuncturist

·      Donald Altman’s 12 Weeks to Mindful Eating Guidebook

·      Mastery of 27 unique skills

·      Mindfulness Skills, Thinking-Behavioral Skills, Creating Space Skills and  Normal Eating Skills
